Why are there so many Chinese education site here?
cuz there's more and more of them out there. I have to say though, I've been to this site a few times recently and and its kind of great. There are a lot of lessons to check out and culture section they have has got some interesting stuff in there too.

Isn't targetchinese part of that large Chinese education institute New Oriental? I thought they launched their site 2 years ago, is this new?
