Silver Rocket

Silver Rocket is an independent record label based in Prague. The new Silver Rocket website has been just launched. Originally written using PHP/MySQL, the new site now has a new fresh look, better layout and navigation and a completely new Django-based backend.

The site includes a news section, articles, interviews, discussion forum, release catalog, band lineup listing, an online shop and a place to redeem MP3 download coupons included with some vinyl releases.

All existing data was exported into XML while applying various PHP-based display filters and then imported into the new database structure using another script on the Django side. Original URL structure has also been preserved.
