SceneGrinder

SceneGrinder is a virtual table top for role playing games. It supports any role playing game through the use of online configured templates. It has real time lighting and the lights interact with walls. Unlike other virtual table tops, it's all web-based and games are available all the time.

SceneGrinder makes heavy use of HTML5 (particularly the canvas tag), but the neat thing is that it is completely driven by Django.... the website itself and the game areas themselves. We simply could not have rolled this out as tightly and efficiently without Django.
