Shade

A social network written out of frustration for Facebook. Takes privacy seriously, no lame apps or app spam, no corporate interests. All the good aspects of a social network with none of the negatives. Supports Twitter-like public status updates and subscriptions to public updates. Also allows users to prioritize status updates from their friends by adding friends to groups where status updates will appear more prominently on the dashboard.
