Mario Super Sluggers Cards

A card collection game promoting Mario Super Sluggers for Nintendo Wii. Find cards in banners around the internet, and store them in your collection. Trade, with other users and try to combine cards to unlock new cards.

The site is almost entirely in Flash, so Django's main roll is serving up info through AMF, though it also powers the forum section. This same Django backend also serves up the info (again through AMF) for the 65 million banner impressions in which the collectible cards can be found.

The site has been successful far beyond our expectations, with almost 20,000 users in just the first 3 weeks.

The site was developed by Struck. The concept was conceived and pitched to Nintendo by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
